Incoming rotors for rewind are 100% blast cleaned, 100% surface inspected and a full nondestructive metallurgical evaluation performed, before any rewind work begins
Major components removed from the rotor shaft are nondestructively inspected
As required, components are re-engineered and improved by REGENCO
If desired, 18Mn 18Cr retaining rings are manufactured using forgings from our extensive stock (covering 80% of the U.S. generator fleet)
In-process testing, consistent with IEEE, ANSI and NEMA standards, assures a high quality result
High-speed balance and testing guarantees a short free rotor and trouble free operation
