In February 1999, Siemens announced the closure of the old Allis-Chalmers facility in West Allis. A core group of engineers and craftpersons rallied together to reopen the facility. With the support of our traditional customers, the State of Wisconsin, and the City of West Allis, REGENCO was formed and reopened the facility on November 16, 1999. Our company now brings a long-standing history of expertise in the repair of all major OEM turbine generator equipment to our customers. In April 2010, REGENCO became a wholly-owned entity of Toshiba International Corporation (TIC). Our customers can expect high quality turbine and generator services, along with customer focused values historically provided to customers of the West Allis facility by our “world class” service team.
